TO ØL, Mr. White DIWA

믿을 수 있는 투올(투욀?).

표기가 TO ØL이다보니 발음도 표기도 어렵다.

하지만 맥주는 맛있다.

오늘의 맥주는 미스터 화이트.

병부터 화사하니 마음에 든다... 사실은 보틀이 이뻐서 산 케이스.

TO OL, Mr. White Double India Wheat Ale

컬러는 일반 밀맥과 유사한 옅은 브라운 컬러... 헤드는 역시 곱지만 풍성하게 쌓인다.

코를 대면 예의 미국IPA 같은 쌉싸름하면서도 시트러시한 홉의 첫 어택.

하지만 블루베리, 자두 같은 과일과 정향 허브, 구수한 강냉이 향이 뒤를 탄탄하게 받친다.

입에 넣으면 생각보다는 가벼운 바디(미드-미드풀)에 쌉싸름한 첫 맛 뒤로 구수한 곡물 내음, 

그리고 뭔가 고혹적인 꽃향기와 감초 뉘앙스로 길게 해소되는 피니시.

 뭔가 인상적인 맥주이지만... 뭐라 쉽게 형언하기는 어렵다.

그런 면에서 레이블을 참 잘 만든 듯... 무지개 같은 매력을 지닌 맥주다.

더블 인디아 윗 에일이라니... IBU가 궁금하구만.

크리스피한 밀맥아에 아메리칸 심코, 모자익, 아마릴로 홉을 넣으셨단다.

Style: Double India Wheat Ale Malts: Pale, Unmalted wheat, wheat malt, melanoidin, dextrose Hops: Citra, Amarillo, Simcoe, Mosaic Sometimes you just wonder how wheaty an IPA can get? Or how hoppy a wheat ale can be? Those questions combined quickly leads to product development on a high scientific level.  As we are men of science, we got to work on this combination. Mr. White is what came about during this process. An Double India Wheat Ale. Combing all the firm body and mouthfeel from a wheat beer, combined with the floral, citrousy flavours of Citra, Simcoe, Mosaic and Amarillo. Brewed with a bit of dextrose to lighten the body and accentuate the other aromas. This is the wheat beer that used to lack some fruity touch. Or this is the IPA that needed some mouthfeel.  We are very happy about the results and hope the same for all of you! Mr. White: If you shoot this man, you die next. Repeat. If you shoot this man, you die next.
